overall an amazing peice, and great concept... but im going to have to pick a couple of things apart ... initially I read your text, then looked at the pic and was thinking - sword? what sword?... it kind of gets lost in the detail. the flame is great but too transparent? the only other thing is the background... I like the colouring but the texture seems totally different to the rest of the pic? yeah - just my 2c worth. keep it up

Nicely done. However, some of the details are difficult to make out due to the primarily light color pallet you've used..... Perhaps if you upped the contrast a tad it would make things "pop" more....

I agree with the comment about increased contrast. But then I don't even know how you can manage to pull of such a bright painting so well. I find it very difficult indeed to work with bright colours like these. bravo....

I like this peice, the background is simple but it works very well, since the focus should be on the angel and not whats in the background.

I think the background is fine for this, it makes you really look at her. The armor and wings are great (love the translucency-ish of the wings!) , but her face is a tad...small? It makes you notice how skinny she is, how narrow her shoulders are, and you start to think that she's more a child. The rest of her body belongs on a mature woman. I also agree with Miksi, it's cluttered around her arms - I had to look carefully to find the hilt and blade of her sword.

I love it! The colours and everything. I saw this piece ages ago and its still my favourite. I like your latest pieces too! How do you get your skin tones and transparent wing tips like that! I'd love to know. I'm hopeless at toning people, I can kinda draw them but i suck at the colouring part. lol Very nice.

i like the concept of having three different set of wings. Love your work on the colors... though the wings would've looked better if it were gold and not yellow (not that it isn't! ) Really nice peace of work. I wish I would be able to do something like that in future.
